𝙑𝙊𝙇𝙐𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙀𝙍 𝙊𝙁 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙃

At Essington Rugby Club, we know that volunteers are the absolute beating heart of our club. Put simply: without them, we wouldn’t exist!

To show our appreciation, we’re launching our official Volunteer of the Month award—and our very first winner is none other than Simon 'Faz' Farrow!

Faz has had a massive July, leading our mixed touch rugby side, the Essington Hawks, through the final stretch of the summer tournament season (even managing two teams at once at a couple of these events!). On top of that, he’s kept training sharp every single week and helped organise the Essington Touch Tournament, turning it into another huge success!

Over the last few years, Faz has put in endless hours coaching, organising, and building the Hawks into what they are today—making sure everyone is learning, improving, and having a blast on the pitch.

While Faz is now stepping back from managing the Hawks, he isn't going anywhere and will still be helping out around the club as always.

Faz, thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do for Essington!
