Essington 2nds v Brinsford

A good all round performance from Essington this week with the forwards taking on the opposition in all areas to produce quick ball for the backs to use to the full.
There were many errors from Essington trying to play this style of rugby but their experience ultimately proved the difference between the two sides.
Hard running from Lewis Hylton saw him score two tries and earn a well deserved man of the match, closely followed by the hard working Phil Russell.
Mention must also go to Jason Newton who came on in the second half and scored with his first touch of the ball. Paddy Gallagher was also on the scoresheet with his first ever try for the club.
Other try scorers were Paul Cowmeadow, Rob Matthews, Mark Osborn and JJ Gallagher.
